For more than 20 years, Kerrie Jackson has proudly called Newmarket, Ontario home. As a mother of 35 years and an experienced caregiver, she understands the daily challenges faced by seniors and those living with conditions such as Parkinson's disease, dementia, and mobility limitations. While caring for her clients, Kerrie noticed many were relying on heavily processed TV dinners.

Wanting a healthier and more personal option, she began creating home-cooked freezer meals that her clients genuinely enjoyed. Today, she offers tasty, nutritious meals made with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. They're easy to heat, packaged in colour-coded containers for quick visual identification, and available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Kerrie delivers weekly on Wednesdays throughout the Main Street Newmarket area and surrounding communities. More than just meals, she's delivering peace of mind and the comfort of home-cooked food to those who need it most.

Looking ahead, Kerrie hopes that with the support of community donations, the program can grow to provide nutritious meals to people experiencing homelessness in the surrounding area as well. Nothing makes her happier than seeing people enjoy wholesome, home-cooked food made with genuine care.
